The institute performs technical assessment of construction products according to Act No. 133/2013 Coll. as an authorized body for technical assessment, specifically TP04. Based on the manufacturer's request (downloadable form), the institute issues a SK technical assessment. The fundamental requirement for issuing the SK technical assessment is that the product belongs to one of the groups of construction products specified in Decree No. 162/2013 Coll. of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic and there is no harmonized standard, European technical assessment, or designated standard applicable to it.
