Testing and calculations as technical assistance to manufacturers of construction products are primarily carried out by the institute as an accredited testing laboratory. This includes tests and calculations required for the assessment and verification of constancy of performance, which are within the competence of manufacturers (within the scope of type determination by Systems 2+ and 4 according to CPR, or II+ and IV according to Act No. 133/2013 Coll.), but can also be obtained from external laboratories. In addition to the tests and calculations required for product type determination, manufacturers can also arrange for planned tests (Systems 1+, 1, and 2+ according to CPR, or I+, I, and II+ according to Act No. 133/2013 Coll.).
The appendix provides an updated list of accredited tests grouped by product categories, specifying the laboratory facilities responsible for conducting the tests. Information on prices, deadlines, sample quantities, etc., as well as any additional (non-accredited) tests and calculations, can be obtained through the provided contacts.
The manufacturer submits a request for tests and calculations in the form of an order, and after the contract is concluded, the testing laboratory or its facility performs the required tests and so on.
