The assessment of product parameters according to CPR is carried out by the institute as a notified body No. 1301 (notified laboratory) if the products:

• Fall under harmonized European standards (hEN)
• Require assessment and verification of constancy of performance by System 3
• And the institute is notified as a testing laboratory for those hENs (scope of notification in NANDO).

The notified laboratory assesses the parameters based on tests conducted on samples provided by the manufacturer and sends the test report(s) to the manufacturer. If, in accordance with the hEN and with the manufacturer's consent, the test for a particular property was replaced by calculations or evaluation based on tabulated values or descriptive documentation of the construction product, the notified body issues a calculation report or a report on evaluation based on tabulated values or descriptive documentation.

The manufacturer submits a request in the form of an application (downloadable form) and after the contract is concluded, the notified body performs the required tests and so on.
