The Institute, as an inspection authority, grants licenses to construction companies that apply thermal insulation and water insulation balcony, loggia, and terrace systems (hereinafter referred to as "balcony systems") for the execution of related works. The license holder demonstrates their competence to carry out specialized construction works through this document, ensuring that the quality of the work, along with the certified components of the balcony system, guarantees the designed parameters and the lifespan of the structure.
The granting of licenses is based on national technical specifications for balcony systems, which include national technical assessments and the corresponding technological procedures for system application.
Licenses are granted or revoked in accordance with the internal directive of Inspection Authority Type A Conditions for Granting Licenses for the Construction of Thermal Insulation and Water insulation for Balcony, Loggia, and Terrace Systems," issued in consultation with the Civil Association Association for Building Insulation (OZ ZPZ). Companies apply for license issuance using the license application form or the form for extending the validity of the license. Completed constructions are reported by the company using the form for reporting completed buildings.
The updated list of license holders is available on this website. If a license holder wishes to publish detailed contact information about their company in addition to the basic data in the list, they can do so directly in the license application or through an order. The service is subject to charges according to the current price list of TSÚS.
Contractors who perform construction work related to the construction of thermal insulation contact systems (ETICS) and simultaneously construct balcony systems from an approved manufacturer of these systems may request the issuance of both types of licenses using a combined license application form or the form for extending the validity of licenses. Jointly completed constructions are reported by the company using the form for reporting completed buildings.

Note:
The license for the construction of balcony systems confirms that the holder has the technical, qualification, and organizational prerequisites to ensure the expected quality of the work performed. The inspection activities of TSÚS at the licensee's construction sites do not replace the functions of construction supervision and other participants in the construction process.
